Pharma industry leaders join Clincove’s platform as the company prepares for a full SaaS rollout and key growth milestones, backed by $500K in support from Ontario’s Life Sciences Innovation Fund (LSIF).
Toronto, Canada, September 22, 2025 – Clincove Inc., based in Toronto, has strengthened its position in the digital trial infrastructure space with the addition of global pharmaceutical leaders AstraZeneca and Merck to its client portfolio. This expansion underscores Clincove’s credibility, compliance readiness, and relevance to high-tier clinical operations. The company is also engaged in active discussions with additional large pharmaceutical organizations and small biotechnology companies, with early signs of interest aligning closely with the forthcoming launch of its fully SaaS-enabled platform.
The flagship product upgrade, set for release at the end of 2025, will feature a re-architected backend for scale and self-service deployment, enhanced usability for both clinical sites and sponsors, and improved integrations with trial documentation workflows. Built for a SaaS-first go-to-market strategy, the platform will enable smaller and mid-market research networks to rapidly onboard and operate independently with minimal service overhead.
“Clincove is entering a pivotal phase in its evolution, moving toward a fully scalable, product-led model that meets the clinical research industry’s most pressing needs,” said Mehdi Al-Khalissi, CEO at Clincove. “The combination of our enterprise expansion, upcoming SaaS launch, and growing market interest positions us for disruptive impact in 2025 and beyond.”
Clincove has also received $500,000 in funding through Ontario’s Life Sciences Innovation Fund (LSIF), led by the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI), to support its growth and expansion. This investment provides critical runway as the company prepares for its SaaS launch and accelerates its mission of transforming digital trial infrastructure.
This investment was also matched by Ontario’s Life Sciences Innovation Fund (LSIF), led by the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI), in the amount of $500,000, providing support as the Company expands.
“Ontario’s life sciences sector is a key driver of our province’s economy, which is why our government is making strategic investments to ensure more medical breakthroughs are discovered and developed right here, at home,” said Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. “By renewing the Life Sciences Innovation Fund, we are taking decisive action to build a more resilient and self-reliant economy, focused on protecting Ontario workers, businesses and good-paying jobs.”
The company is currently piloting a SaaS-only sales model, with its first pure software contract anticipated to close this summer, marking a critical step in measuring key growth metrics such as customer acquisition cost, churn, and lifetime value under a software-only model.
“This renewed investment in Ontario’s LSIF empowers homegrown companies to bring health breakthroughs to market, create jobs, and cement our global leadership in life sciences,” says Claudia Krywiak, President and CEO of the Ontario Centre of Innovation. “The Ontario Centre of Innovation is proud to support these innovators alongside the Government of Ontario.”
Clincove provides advanced digital trial infrastructure solutions designed to streamline and standardize clinical research operations. Through a SaaS-first approach, Clincove empowers clinical sites, sponsors, and research networks to efficiently manage and scale trials with reduced service dependency.
